BAC has been addressing the issue of lethally managed beaver for almost two decades. Leonard, Lois and a team of volunteers have utilized their own time, fiscal resources and energy to visit concerned stakeholders to prevent unneeded death of much needed beaver in our region. They have assisted with installing flow control devices, educating landowners and agency personnel and moving “nuisance” beaver to predetermined life sustaining environments. The scope, scale and expertise of this investment is extensive. Long distances are often traveled which entails vehicle expenses and upkeep along with other costs that add up over time. Won’t you consider supporting these dedicated volunteers?
